Built on the idea that a small team can serve a big city better.
Founded in 2011 with two agents and one shared desk, Hallow & Key has grown slowly and deliberately — to four agents, nine neighborhoods, and over a thousand homes sold.
Why we stay small
Real estate is a relationship business that the industry keeps trying to make into a volume business. We made the opposite bet: never take on more clients than we can answer in two hours, never hand a client off, and never recommend a price we can't back with paper.
That bet has worked. Over a thousand families have bought and sold with us, and the vast majority of our business still arrives the old-fashioned way — a referral from someone we already served.
- One agent, end to end. The person you meet is the person who closes your deal.
- Pricing with receipts. Every number we recommend comes with the comparables behind it.
- Nine neighborhoods, deeply. We'd rather know nine blocks perfectly than fifty vaguely.
- No hand-offs, ever. Your agent answers your calls — not a team, not a call center.
