Tuesday through Sunday, 7 AM – 4 PM, with the cake counter running until 3 PM on weekends. We're closed Mondays — the ovens, and the bakers, need a rest.
Yes — we bake a daily gluten-free option and always have a vegan pastry or two. Our vegan and gluten-free celebration cakes are made to order with 72 hours notice, and we clearly label everything on the menu.
Use the cakes page to pick a style, then book a consultation through the contact form or pop into the shop. Celebration cakes need 72 hours notice; the Basque cheesecake needs 48; weddings are booked months ahead in spring and summer.
The first bake goes in at 4:30 AM and the croissants come out just before 7. Bread is baked twice daily, and everything left at close is donated to a neighbourhood pantry — we don't sell day-old pastries.
Friday kouign-amann can be reserved by phone from Thursday 2 PM, first come first served. A reserve holds until 11 AM — after that it goes back to the counter, where it will be gone within the hour.
We deliver cakes within a 20-minute radius for a flat $15 fee (free over $100). Pastries and breads are counter-only — they're best eaten within the hour, and we'd rather you taste them at their best.
Once a month we run a Saturday croissant class for six people, and a sourdough starter workshop every other month. Details go out in our newsletter — join at the bottom of any page.
