Overview
Norway in summer is a masterclass in light. You'll start in Bergen's UNESCO wharf, take the coastal ferry north through fjords so steep they block the sun, then spend three nights in a rorbu cabin in the Lofoten Islands, where the sun barely sets. Expect sea kayaks, mountain hikes and more photos than your phone can hold.
Day by day
Day 1
Check in above the old wharf and a welcome dinner of local seafood.
Day 2
Funicular to the top of Mt Fløyen, a stroll through Bryggen's lanes, then the fish market at your own pace.
Day 3
A full day on the Hurtigruten coastal route — fjords, waterfalls and sea eagles on deck.
Day 4
Drives through fishing villages strung along the water, then check into your rorbu.
Day 5
A paddle among the peaks with a local guide, then an evening hike in the perpetual light.
Day 6
A late-evening drive to the islands' wild western tip — dinner at 11pm in full daylight.
Day 7
Optional guided glacier hike or viewpoint walk, then a sauna-and-swim evening like a local.
Day 8
Short flight south and a farewell dinner overlooking the harbour.
Day 9
Breakfast with one last view, then a private transfer to the airport.
